Disneyland 2012

We just got back from one of the best trips we have ever taken with our family. Dave and I surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland. We planned it very last minute, about a week ago. I packed for all of us on Sunday and we loaded up the car Sunday night. The kids had no idea anything was going on. When the woke of Monday morning we fed them a quick breakfast and loaded them up in the car. We told them we were going on a drive. Believe it or not they didn't ask "where are we going?" About an hour later Gracyn asked "where are we going?" We responded with some very generic answer. Another hour or so later the kids asked "where are we?" We told them we were in the middle of nowhere, which we were. Again, they were happy with the answer. Finally Dave and I asked them if they wanted to play a game, "guess where we are going?" but they didn't want to. They wanted to keep watching their movie. Finally 5 HOURS into our drive they wanted to play the game. Finally, they guessed it! They were so excited and we only had one hour left to drive. Once we arrived at the hotel we took the kids to the The Rainforest Cafe. Gracyn loved it but Michael was a little scared of the Gorillas! We spend all day Tuesday and Wednesday at Disneyland and California Adventure. The kids were amazing and loved every minute of it! We did't have a single meltdown out of anyone! Michael loved seeing the characters and the Jungle Cruise. Gracyn rode her first real roller coster too! It was 80 while we were there so Thursday we took the kids to a character breakfast and then swimming at the hotel pool. We took the kids to pick out there souvenir and then headed on our 6 hour trip back home!!!!

Lucy 10 and 11 months

Again, a little behind BUT...........
Baby Lucy is 11 months old. She is cruising around tables and babbling up a storm. Our sweet baby can wave bye-bye and clap. She has 6 teeth, 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. She loves to dance and has discovered the kitchen drawers! She loves the empty the dish towels on to the floor! Lusy is a great sleeper and eater and still has a very mellow and sweet disposition. She says mama, dada, and baby. Although, I'm not really sure if she knows what they mean! I can't believe we have less than a month until her first birthday! Enjoy the updated pictures.

3 years old! (only a few months late)

I realized that I never made a post when my sweet little Michael turned 3 this past October. So, I wanted to give everyone a quick update on our little man. Michael is such a sweet and goofy little boy. We is always smiling and loves to make people laugh. He goes to preschool now, 2 days a week, at Meadowlark Children's Center. He loves riding his big boy bike and playing outside. He likes to color and play with his cars. He says the funniest things like "cranchy." I guess that means something between crunchy and scratchy. Either way, it is so cute! Here are a few pictures of our bug 3 year old!
