My life is officially over

That's right people, I am officially and Minivan driver! I swore I NEVER would get one. I would drive some big SUV with my cool shades and designer jeans but being a mom to 3 kids under the age of 5 has changed things a bit. I hate to say it but, I love this darn van. The kids aren't beating each other up anymore, the doors magically open, and there is even room for my dog! Although I love it, I plan to never get another one. Once Lucy can buckle herself in and will covert to some sort of SUV. Until then this minivan mom is still going to wear her cool shades and designer jeans! Take a look at my ride.

Tahoe

We just got back from Tahoe a few days ago and we had such a great trip. Every year we spend a week or so with Dave's parents, grandma, and brother. We rent a house a to a different place every year. This year Dave's Uncle David and Aunt Ruth joined us. The kids had such a great time. We hiked, played in the snow, went to the beach, did some sight seeing, and went on a brunch cruise. There aren't to many places that you can hike in the snow in morning and head to the back in the afternoon. Tahoe may be my favorite place!!! It is so beautiful. Here are some photos from the trip.

Miss Lucy is 4 months old

Lucy turned 4 months old this past wednesday. She is so much fun right now and is such an amazing little sweetheart. She smiles all the time and makings the cutest little noises. Lately when she wakes up in the morning she plays and talks in her crib for a good 10 minutes. Sometimes she even falls back asleep. She loves to spend time under her mobile and on her play mat. She smiles at the sight of her brother and sister. Gracyn can always get her to smile and coo.
One thing Lucy does not like is a bottle! She is quite stubborn when it comes to taking one. I am still nursing and plan to continue but I also need her to be willing to drink from a bottle so I am able to leave her for the day. And, the kids and Dave would enjoy giving her one too. Just today we had a little bottle boot camp at the Ard house. She was not happy but by the end of the day she was sucking down 6 ounces as fast as she could. Hopefully tomorrow will go a little better.

Meadowlark Art Show

Gracyn's preschool hold an art show at the end of the school year to showcase 5 pieces of each student's art. I love this event. The pieces are displayed to professionally and the kids get so excited. It really is amazing the beautiful art that a little 4 year old can make.
