What has the Ard Clan been up to?????

Finally, I'm back!  Every year starting around Thanksgiving life starts to get a little crazy and it seems to getting a little crazier every year.  So, here is a quick update of the last few months for our clan.

Gracyn had her first grade Thanksgiving play.  Unfortunately this was the first time Dave and I had to "divide and conquer." Gracyn's play and Michael's "Soup and Song" at his preschool were at the same time on the same day.  So, Dave and I split up and recorded both of their performances.

We ate plenty of crab this season thanks to Dave and his fishing buddies.  Many crab feed were held at the Ard home over November and December.

An attempt at a Christmas card picture.  It sure could have been cute if Michael didn't look like he was choking Lucy!

The night before Thanksgiving.  Our annual viewing of a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Gracyn and Michael ran their first "Turkey Trot" in Walnut Creek, CA on Thanksgiving morning.  Gracyn ran a 1/2 mile and Michael a 400yard dash.

Santa Lucia rehearsal for Sveaborg's Vasa kids program, the Swedish group we belong to.

Our chickens finally laid their first egg!  The kids were so excited!

Does anyone remember my post from the Russian River back in August?  These pictures look so very similar to a little Lucy with and ice cream cone.

Lucy would talk about Santa so much.  She would tell us how he eats cookies and brings presents (yes, our little 23 month old talks A LOT!)  But when it came time to see him.... she would rather have her space.

Bean bag chairs from mommy and daddy!

Absolutely no cooperation going on in the picture!

We also took a quick trip to Tahoe at the beginning of the year.  We put Gracyn and Michael in ski school for the first time and they loved it.
