Updated Pictures

Life has been a little busy lately, hence no posts.  Here are some updated pictures of the kids.  My little photography class definitely paid off.  I'm taking another one on Wednesday so I'll keep the practice shots coming.

Had to Share

I had to share a picture I painted for my friend Jenny's baby shower. She is in bible study group and is having twin baby girls. Our small group threw a shower for her with a cherry blossom theme. The canvas of the Fruit of the Spirit was my gift to her.

What we have been up to lately

Just today Gracyn had her best bud Avery over for a play date. It has been pretty rainy here for the last few days but today was beautiful. So, the kids decided they wanted to have a Lemonade stand. Since Lucy was napping we had to set up at the end of our court instead the cross street where some cars may have actually driven by. So, I called some of our neighbors and the kids had a pretty busy business after all.

A week ago I took the kids on a hike. He have a great hike I used to do all the time with our dog and Gracyn. I would put her in the back pack and get one heck of a work out. Macie, our dog, can go off leash here and there are some really steep inclines to get the heart pumping. Well, now with 3 little ones we just kinda stroll and/or march the lower half of the trail. The kids love it.


My kids are bike crazy! So usually once a day we head out to either ride in the court or to go on a bike ride. I push the stroller and the kids ride their bikes. It won't be long before Lucy will be trying to keep up on a little bike of her own.



Last but not least, we celebrated St. Patricks day as green as we could. We started the day with a scavenger hunt, Lucky Charms, and green milk. I may have ruined my kids with this whole cereal thing. They are used to bran flakes, and cheerios, and if I'm feeling crazy some cinnamon life. So cereal with marshmallows?!?!?!?! "Mommy do they only have this on St. Patrick's Day?" " Why, Yes! Only today," I answer. That little white lie will come back to bite me later. We had a green themed dinner too! Shamrock ravioli, broccoli, and green grapes were on the menu. Followed by some delicious dipped Oreos!!!

One Big Fish

I came across this picture today and had to share it. I think it was either from the end of December or the very beginning of the year. One big fish huh???? Dave caught this big guy, a 7 foot Sturgeon.

Just a few pictures

Here are some recent pictures of the kids from the last few days. I've been working on my photography skills. Gracyn will pose for me all day long. Lucy and Michael, well........ I'm lucky to get just one shot of the front of their face. Usually it's the back of their heads!!!! Enjoy.

1 Year Old!

Yes, that's right........our baby, Lucy, turned one this week! I can't believe how quickly this past year has gone by and how much "light" (Lucy means light) this little one has brought to our life. She has the sweetest spirit. She LOVES to snuggle and is very calm and happy. She gets so excited when Gracyn and Michael are around and she now makes barking sounds when she sees our dog, Macie. Lucy is a very busy little girl, constantly moving and playing with things. She is not walking just get but I'll give it a week or two. She cruises around everything and will walk holding on to your finger. She is still a little pinky sucker and couldn't be any cuter when she does it. We are so very blessed to have her and love her with all of our hearts!

Black Eyed Beauty

Poor little Gracyn has been sporting a black eye for the last week and a half. The pictures don't even do it justice! She slipped on the bathroom floor and hit her head on the bathtub. She hit it right on the brow bone and within about 2 seconds it was the size of a golf ball. She was so upset because when she felt it she thought she had broken something. Day two, her eye lid was swollen but by day three yikes! Her eye was black! Over the week it faded into purple, and blue, and brown, and green, and finally yellow. She was one tuff cookie!
